Please be advised that the last Friday Practice this semester will be on the 11th of November (Week 13 Friday) to give our members time to study for their Final Exams.
Weekend Practices this semester are on the 6th and 20th of November (Sundays).

In addition, the 13th Grandmaster presented certificates to some members who had advanced sufficiently in the art of making tea. Particularly, we would like to congratulate Jennifer Ding for being the second member of the NUS Sado Club to be inducted into the Enshu Sado School.

Renovations @ AS4
July 24, 2011 at 1:27 PM | Posted in Uncategorized | Leave a commentAs some of you may have already heard, there are renovations going on at AS4. We were looking to have access to the spanking new Culture Room among other awesome changes in the Japanese Studies Department, but rumour has it that a section of the ceiling had collapsed. From the rough estimates, it looks like we’ll only be able to move back in around the 20th of August.
The good news in all this is that the tatami mats are being replaced so we’ll have a refreshing smell in the room. Look forward to it!
NUS Sado Club @ JCN 2011

In collaboration with the NUS JSS, NUS Sado Club performed a traditional Tea Ceremony for the Japanese Culture Night. This annual event brings together the various clubs in NUS that are, in one way or another, related to Japanese Culture. These clubs include the Koto Club and the Nihon-Buyo Club among others.
